Safari Overview:
Apart from it fame in wildlife tourism, Tanzania is rich in tribes and cultures. The country is a colorful mix of native cultures, with more than 120 different tribes. There is a supreme variety of cultural experiences in Tanzania. From Maasai, Datoga to Hadzabe tribe, you will have great time to spend on this marvelous African land.
This Nature Cultural Experience will take you to the breath-taking cultural sites where you will face to face meet the nomadic Maasai people in Ngorongoro then you will have an opportunity to go hunting with the Hadzabe bushmen around lake Eyasi.
Full Itinerary
Day 1
Nature Guides Safaris representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel around Usa river in Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
After early breakfast in the lodge, with your packed picnic lunch boxes depart for Mto wa mbu town for a day cultural experience. In Mto wa mbu, you will get a chance to meet the local inhabitants of Mto wa Mbu and see how they provide for themselves. Part of the tour is experiencing how Tanzania’s lands are farmed and how its products are being processed.
You’ll learn about the uses of different bananas and get a chance to try Tanzania’s very own banana beers, a local brewery of the Chagga tribe.
During lunchtime you will enjoy the local food in one of the local food outlets. Dinner and overnight at the tented camp.

Day 3
After an early morning breakfast, you depart for your cultural tour with the hadza community. This is your day with typical cultural tribe and engages in real hunting together.
It is a tribe of hunters and collectors, which formerly inhabited the Serengeti, but was forced away by stronger and more aggressive tribes. The Hadza live in traditional ways, hunting game such as dik-diks and collecting honey. Their huts are simple, built in a few hours and as easily abandoned.
Like another people of hunters and collectors, the San tribe of the Kalahari in southern Africa, the Hadza speaks a click language. After hunting and engagement with the tribe, you depart for Arusha with a stop for your lunch on the way. Later drop to your hotel or proceed to Kilimanjaro airport for flight home.

Day 4
Early morning we depart to the village for local hunting experience with Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. This is not a mere performance. The Bushmen rely on these techniques to survive and you’ll need to be very attentive and at times quiet, while they demonstrate their use of locally made poisons in incapacitating the poor creatures on which they depend for survival.
We return to the Tindiga Tented Lodge for a late breakfast and we then travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. After picnic lunch in the late afternoon drive to a Masai Village. Visitors meet the village elders, get an insight into the Masai way of life, visit the bomas, learn about their prized cattle and visit the local school. In the evening you will be driven to tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5
On this day, you will get early breakfast from your tented camp and start driving down the Ngorongoro crater for half day game drive. Your Nature Guides Safaris experienced driver-guide will take good care of you throughout the day, enjoying the chance to share his knowledge with you.
You will have time to enjoy your picnic lunchbox. After a wonderful day enjoying the spectacular sights and sounds of this truly special place, you will leave Ngorongoro around 13.00, to arrive back in Arusha for 17.00 where you are dropped off at your hotel for overnight or transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
